Fun & Creativity

Art

Daily coloring, messy art, or crafts engages children's senses in open-ended play and supports the development of cognitive, social-emotional and multisensory skills.

Music

Music enables children to learn new words and concepts through activities such as chanting rhymes, and singing songs to learn the alphabet.

Movement

Children also learn how to express emotions in different ways and communicate messages through actions.

Language

Language development supports children's thinking ability and helps them develop and maintain relationships. Language development lays the foundation for the reading and writing skills in children as they enter and progress through school.

Mathematics

Understanding and using mathematical concepts, and being numerate, helps children know and describe the world around them and make meaning of these encounters.

Outside Play

Playing outside is fun, exciting and important for children's learning and development. The great outdoors gives children plenty to explore. Children thrive with the freedom and space the outdoors gives them to shout, jump, run around, hop and skip. Being outside is an exciting sensory experience for babies and toddlers.
